One day when Bob is on the way home from school, he sees a little bird at the foot of a tree. It has fallen out of its nest.

一天鲍勃在放学回家的路上，在树下看到了一只小鸟。它从鸟窝里摔了下来。

Bob takes the little bird up in his hand. He doesn’t know what to do with it, because the nest is at the top of the tree.

鲍勃把小鸟拿在手里。他不知道该拿它怎么办，因为巢在树顶上。

At last he says, “Poor little bird, I will take you home. When you are big and strong, you will fly to the nest at the top of the tree.”

最后他说，“可怜的小鸟，我要带你回家。当你长大变得强壮，你就会飞回树顶上的鸟窝了。”

So Bob takes it home. He gives it good food and water, and puts it in a cage.

所以鲍勃把鸟带回家了。他给鸟喂了食物和水，然后把鸟放在了笼子里。

In a few months the bird grows big and strong, and it has fine long wings.

One day Bob lets it out of the cage, and it flies away back to its home in the tree.

几个月后，鸟长得又大又壮，翅膀又长又细。有一天，鲍勃把它从笼子里放出来，它飞回了树上的家。
